Leading role in Work Package 5 “KAP and behavioural study in RoC and DRC”

The Congolese Society of Mental Health (SOCOSAM) is a not-for-profit organization whose main objective is to advance the state of knowledge in the field of mental health in Congo Brazzaville and in sub-Saharan Africa, in close collaboration with scientists from all parts of the world. It is engaged in many behavioural and social investigations in Central Africa (age -dementia, pharmacovigilance, knowledge, attitudes, and practices of health workers facing infectious and nontransmissible
diseases). It collaborates closely with the University of Marien Ngouabi, University Sassou Nguesso, in ROC and CANTAM and PANDORA-ID-Net networks. Prof. Alain MOUANGA has been involved in the international team that was in DRC for the response to the last Ebola virus disease outbreak in DRC.
