Within the MPOX-PROBE project, a training was conducted in DRC, from 10.11.2024 to 07.12.2024. The objective of the training was to strengthen capacities, knowledge and attitudes in the context of preparedness and adequate response to epidemics/pandemics of emerging and re-emerging diseases.

The expected results, all achieved, were:

1.Strengthen the foundations of collaborations between the INRB and FCRM;
2.Acquire the basics of the diagnostic approach in parasitology;
3.Acquire a basic knowledge of the diagnostic approach in bacteriology;
4.Acquire a basic knowledge of the diagnostic approach in virology;
5.Strengthen capacities in the approach to be adopted in Mycobacteriology; 6.Familiarize with different leading groups in different fields
